This program will provide participants with general skills such as OH&S and organising work priorities as well as more specific work related skills, such as communicating with a prospective client.
This learning and assessment strategy has been designed for a flexible-delivery mode. Alternate strategies will be developed for training held as part of distance education or institution-based programs.
The program commences with an orientation workshop for all participants. Learning and assessment resources are provided at the outset, including detailed learners guides, reading materials, CD-ROM and web-based activities and work-based projects Workshops to support electives are organised, if required, to meet the needs of the participants.
Throughout the program, regular monitoring and assessment visits are conducted in the participant’s workplace. Phone and email support is available at all times.
The combination of units on the following page has been developed for staff working in the sales area at an automotive dealership. However, alternate units may be chosen to suit more specialised administrative roles and staff in different organisations or industries. |
